Music & Announcements

Your Direct Sounds DJ will make all of your announcements, position you for all of your chosen dances and play all of the music of  your choice. We can also take requests from the crowd if you're ok with it. We're here with our experience to help create your vision for the day.

In your music consultation meeting, your DJ will help you finalize a timeline, talk about music details, verify all announcements, and proper titles for your family & friends. Fun things to consider for your wedding are the Newlywed Game, Anniversary Dance, or wrap the garter around a football and toss it to the crowd! Engaging your guest's and getting them to participate in your big day is a sure way to create the best memories!

When selecting music for your wedding consider it to be decorations with sound. The music you choose will set the mood and create the atmosphere for fun and love.

Spotify

Spotify is a great resource to use. You can create playlists for your ceremony, cocktail, dinner and dancing segments of the evening. Hang on to them afterwards and you'll literally have the sound track to your wedding for future listening.

Take Song Requests

Ask invitees to jot down their favorite song on the RSVP card—or have them email it to you instead. Compile all the song requests into a playlist and give it to your DJ for a variety of jams that guests will enjoy.
